橡膠止水帶是采用天然橡膠與各種合成橡膠為主要原料，摻加各種助劑及填充料，經塑煉，混煉， 壓制成型，其品種規(guī)格較多，有橋型、山型、P型、R型、U型、Z型、乙型、T型、H型、E型、Q型等。該止水材料具有良好的彈性，耐磨性、耐老化性和抗撕裂性能，適應變形能力強、防水性能好，溫度使用范圍-45℃-+60℃。當溫度超過+70℃，以及強烈的氧化作用或受油類等有機溶劑侵蝕時，均不得使用該產品。

橡膠止水帶必需采取可靠的固定措施，綁扎鋼筋和支模時。防止在澆注混凝土時發(fā)生位移，止水帶在混凝土中的正確位置。

只能在止水帶的允許部位上穿孔打洞，對于固定止水帶時。不得損壞止水帶有效防水部位。

按型號可分為：CB型橡膠止水帶（埋入式中間有孔型）；CP型橡膠止水帶（埋入式中間無孔型）；EB型橡膠止水帶（外貼式中間有孔型）；EP型橡膠止水帶（外貼式中間無孔型）。
